The Bordwatcher is a mysterious, robed figure who watches birds from Big Bord Balloon Cliff. Often spotted on nights with a full moon, he is always sketching birds in meticulous detail. It is unknown how he is afforded an ample view through binoculars in the dense darkness.

Some say that he is able to see through time, and draws the birds from all eras who have flown near the cliff. Anthropologists believe that the Bordwatcher inspired the first humans to create paintings in an attempt at mimesis, possibly to become just as bonner. If recent human history indicates anything, however, they failed.
