Colossal Baroque
Supposedly a musical sub-genre. Works within the "canon" are too huge, both in length and employed instruments, to ever be performed. Currently, the record for Biggest Colossal Baroque Piece is held by Jumboroni Tortuglia, composer of the Maximum Trumpet Suite, which calls for more than a couple dozen trumpets. Although this may seem to be a small number, easily crushed by other pieces' ensembles, all other Colossal Baroque composers do not (yet) know what a "dozen" is, and are afraid to tamper with such an Extreme concept, lest it rip the world in two.
