J. Glango and the Mysterious Dingobupper

A best-selling murder mystery novel, perhaps all the more famous for not involving any murders. It was authored by writer Henk Hoover and purportedly penned within the span of two days. Critics and readers alike had cast Henk Hoover as the rival of Dunkum Weedlebarr, whose novel Who Killed Dewey Blorp? established him as a force to be reckoned with in the genre of murder mystery, but J. Glango and the Mysterious Dingobupper convinced most that he was the superior of the two. That is, until Hoover attempted to outdo himself with a direct sequel, J. Glango and the Immovable Ass, a work decried by most as being overly contrived, lacking any sort of discernible narrative, and too crude even for the rudest of big (and smallish) boys.
